Miss Nepal 2013 Ishani Shrestha has made through the Top 10 List of the Miss World 2013 Finals held in Indonesia. This is the biggest achievements so far for any beauty from Nepal in an international beauty pageant.
Although she didn't make through top 5, she has bagged the most prestigious Title, the "Beauty with The Purpose Title".She stood the no. 3 in the Multimedia Title as well.
Her stunning Dance in the Nepali Movie Song Maitighar was so overwhelming that all the Nepalese who were watching live stopped their heart and kept their eyes open for a moment, they all felt so touched and proud to see her performing on our historical song.

With all these achievements for Nepal, these has been questions raised by many people weather it is a matter of pride when our nation is recognized by such poor condition of the people.Like in last two years of CNN Hero Awards, Nepal has won Awards on for similar field. Anuraradha Koirala won the Award for her tireless work on the field of Girl's Trafficking and HIV infected women.Another woman Pushpa Basnet won the same Award for her work on Orphans.But we still need to be happy for these successes which somehow has given more pressure to our government on recognizing these problems.
