When the day for filing candidacy for Constituent Assembly Election is approaching near, Nepali media has been heated up due to several interesting news.Prachanda Slapper Padam Kunwar is all set to fight election against Maoist Chairman Prachanda from Kathmandu constituency-10.Padam and his followers have released a video in youtube asking his supporter to vote for him. In a brief video he has asked the general public why they should vote for him and why not for Prachanda.
Acording to him, Prachanda was committed to people emancipation during the wartime, once he came to the peaceful mainstream politics, he has taken a wrong way and forgotten all the promises he had made with the people, whereas he states that he worked for the Maoist party in the past with a commitment to change the people's life and he is still committed to bring the changes, thats why his victory is certain.
This move from Padam Kunwar has sparked the Nepali Politics and the media mainly in social medias like Facebook, Twitter and You Tube.Padam and his followers have uploaded the video in the popular video sharing media the You Tube where anyone can express their views anonymously or with known identity.Unlike previous election, Nepal's upcoming election seems to be greatly influenced by the social media, as new generation is interested in media shaing and interaction.
Padam's political height is not as high as Prachanda yet, his candidacy would definitely give some satisfaction to him, his followers and all prachanda haters even he cant win, if he wins that will definitely take him to higher positon in politics and that will certainly give message to political leaders to be more responsible to the people and not to give them false promises.
