Village Council Orders Gangrape Shocking News From India

In another nail-biting news from India, a village Panchayat Council has ordered a Gang rape of a 20 years old girl. She was accused of having relationship with a man from another community. She was gang raped by 12 men as a punishment when she failed to pay the 25000 IC as the fine whereas the male partner was released after committing payment within one week.
The meeting of village council at  small village of  Subalpur , about 240 kilometers west of state capital Calcutta had ordered the punishment. The man named Sudhakar from nearby  village was found to have love relationship with the victim girl and they were tied up on two different trees and the emergency meeting of Panchayat gave such verdict. The poor parent of the girl were in no way able to pay the amount and the dumbest head of the village ordered her gang rape.
Police has arrested 12 men involved in the crime whereas the victim girl with several wound in her body has been getting treatment at hospital.
Despite tougher law on Rape crimes, there has been several rape cases everyday in India. In the new law imposed in India after the nationwide outrage against rape  of a 23 years old student indside a moving bus at the center of Delhi , the rapist can face up to death penalty. India has just remarked the first anniversary of the death of Delhi girl last month.
India practicing one of the best democratic political system in the world has been defamed by several such incidents.
In another case earlier this month, a Danish female tourist was looted and gang -raped in Delhi when she lost her way back to the hotel.
