'Saayad' has won the Best Movie Award along with 6 other awards in the National Film Award 2069 held in Tribhuwan Army Club Sundhara.
The award was presented by National Film Development Company (NFDC) on the occasion of 50 years of Nepali Film industry.
Suraj Subba Nalbo has won the best script writer and Best director award from the movie sayad which won the best Professional movie as well. Wilson Bikram Rai (Takme) has won best supporting actor from the same movie.Likewise Youth Actor Samyam Puri was awarded Special MAHA Jury National award whereas Sanjaya Lama won the Best cinematographer award.
Of the 16 total Awards, Jiwan Luintel took home the Best Actor Award for the movie Malatiko Bhatti whereas Nita Dhungana won the Best Actress Award for movie Notebook.Karishma Manandhar was awarded the Best Supporting Actress Award for Maya's Bar.
