The regular first half didn't see any goals from either sides although both teams were playing hard to find a goal. Both teams had created some beautiful moves.Nepal as earlier matches has an immense support from a huge home audience. On the 70th minutes of the second half striker Anil Gurung registered the first goal of the match. When the free kick by Sandip Rai was headed by substitute Bikram Lama, the ball hit the bar and re-bounced in front of Anil Gurung who wasted no sec to push the ball into Indian net.Cheered with hooting, claps and whistling from the mass, Nepal again played in attacking mode.On the 81th minute, Nepal doubled
the score with striker Jumanu Rai's beautiful goal.Rai made an admiring one touch left footed kick with an acute pass from the Robin Shrestha who had been playing very nicely as usual.
Last time's Young Hero Bimal Ghartimagar was sent to the field around the last minutes of the match replacing another Nepali Team pillar Bharat khawas who had scored on the first match with Bangladesh.Bimal was welcomed with the hooting although he didn't get any chance to show his magic in the match again.
On the 92nd minutes, Indian player Robin Singh scored a goal making the score 2-1 which for a while created a chance of equalizing the score but it was too late for them and the match ended with the score of Nepal 2; India 1.With the exciting victory, Nepal has advanced into the semifinals of the tournament.India although lost the Match has entered into the semifinals as the A Group's Runner-up because of superior head to head result against Pakistan who had lost 1-0 with india in their group match.
