According to the Security planning presented by the government, Army will be mobilized on the coordination of the Chief District Officer. With orders from the civil Administration, Army will be deployed on the certain distance around the Election Centre. There will be around 61,000 Nepal Army, 56,000 Nepal Police,20000 from Nepal Armed Force Police and 45,000 Temporary Police personnel mobilized under the Integrated Security Planning. Whereas Army has proposed an Unified Command under it's leadership similar to the Maoist war time.
Home Minister along with four Security Heads have informed the Election Commissioner about the security planning during the election. According to the plan, there will be central coordination committee under Home Minister, Regional under Regional Administrator and District level under Chief District Officer. Election Commission has asked the Security Council to strengthen the effectiveness of information and communication during the security mobilization
to ensure fare and fearless election.
