Agitating Madhesi parties have returned to parliament since Sunday, including lawmakers from Sadbhawana party who had resigned earlier with disagreement at some articles of the new constitution that was promulgated on Sep 20.
After 3 months of Terai Madhesh Closure and blockade at southern customs at borders, Morcha seems to use parliament as another platform to build pressure to government. On Sunday lawmakers from Morcha abstructed the regular house business after Ashok Rai, lawmaker from Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum, one of the agitating parties in Morcha alliance, addressed presenting his views. Rai said that the government hasn't taken the matter seriously and it has been suppressing the protest in stead.
Lawmakers from Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum, Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party, Sadbhawana Party, Rastriya Madhesh Samajbadi Party, Tharuhat Terai Party Nepal, Sanghiya Loktantrik Rantriya Manch (Tharuhat), Dalit Janajati Party and Nepali Janata Dal commenced towards the rostrum and obstructed the regular business of the parliament chanting slogans after Rai finished his adress.Rai demanded compensation to the families of those killed in protest and proper treatment for the injured. He stressed the government to address all the commitments made by government and create an environment for further dialogues.
There hasn't been any progress in the talks between talks teams of government and the Morcha.The dialogue was jeopardized after an Indian citizen was killed during the Birgunj protest while police were trying to clear the blockade at friendship bride at India-Nepal border.
After the obstruction House Chairman Onsari Gharti postponed the house for Monday.

The parliament meeting has been postponed for November 22 after 8 parties including Madhesi Morcha obstructed the house again on the second day.
Eight parties with 40 seats, returned to parliament on Sunday who had been boycotting the parliament except in the Prime Minister's election.
Blockade At Borders Continuous
Citing the Terai Madhesh protest India has slowed down the transportation of petroleum and daily supplies through the border that has badly hit the general life in Nepal since last one and half month. Only 10 percent of public transportation are in the operation now and most of the private vehicles don't have fuel. Because of fuel crisis, most of the schools in cities have been closed and people are forced to cook in firewood even in the capital.
