Its been whole 12 years since our beloved king Birendra Bir Bikram Shah and his whole family was killed at a deadly massacre inside Narayanhiti palace on 1 June 2001.Most of Nepalese haven't believed and will never believe that Crown Prince Dipendra was the one to kill his own family and himself.
It was the darkest night of the history in Nepal, when the city was preparing to sleep and Our Lovely Royal family was at the TGIF party as usual, and an unknown shadow was overtaking the peaceful and Happy Realm.The Throne was shaking as it was to loose the ever popular King and to welcome the very last King of the history , Jyanendra Bikram Shah, even the Crown Prince Dipendra was announced as King while he was on coma, many believed him dead already.
We Nepalese are still hopeful that one day the real culprit of the incident will be exposed and the deceased soul will rest in peace .
Since Prithvi Narayan Shah unified present Nepal during 1778, Nepalese Monarch has been going through bloody battle , mistrust, politics and betrayal inside the palace itself, for the same reason, the Power was overtaken by Rana Regime for 103 years( 30 April 1948 to 18 February 1951).After the First United National People's movement in 1951, Rana Regime was demolished and normal Nepal People were allowed to go to School for the first time in history.
Educated from the Harvard University, King Birendra believed in freedom and democracy, that was the reason the absolute Monarch turned into Constitutional Monarch after 1990, Peoples Movement Nepal.
