Oli Government Expanded, 3 More Deputy PM Appointed


Prime Minister KP Oli on Thursday has expanded his cabinet for the second time. Three more deputy prime ministers and 4 ministers have been appointed.
Bhim Rawal from CPN UML as DPM and Minister for Defense, Male General Secretary CP Mainali as DPM and Minister for Children and Social Welfare and Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC as DPM and Minister for Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation have sworn in at President Office.
Similarly Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel from CPN UML, Information and Communication Technology Minister Sher Dhan Rai from CPN UML, Tourism and  Civil Aviation Minister Ananda Pokharel from CPN UML and Minister without portfolio Shanta Manavi from CPN UML have also taken oath from president Bidday Devi Bhandari in an event at Sital Niwas.
With Thursday's expansion, the number of DPMs have reached 6 and total number of ministers have reached 28.There are still seven ministers to be appointed.
Public have started criticizing PM Oli for appointing  6 DPMS which has made a record of largest number of DPMs in Nepal's cabinet  but it is obvious that it had been already expected as Oli himself became Prime Minister with the support of 16 parties.
