The exam of Grade 12 (+2) conducted by HSEB (Higher Secondary Education Board) has started today except in highly affected 7 districts including Gorkha, Dhading, Nuwakot, Kabhrepalanchok, Sindhupalchok, Dolakha and Ramechhap which was suspended earlier due to the Nepal earthquake on 25th April 2015.Earlier the exam was set to be started from 20th of Baisakh 2071 BS.HSEB has stated that new date of the exam for 7 most affected districts will be announced in near future.
Around 350 thousand students are siting in the 846 different exam centers with one Exam Centre Chief each, 1069 assistant Exam Centre Chiefs, 913 monitors, 9761 superintendents, 846 service workers, 1692 office helpers and 10998 security personal deployed. The exam will continue until the
31st of Jestha 2072 BS.
Those disabled examinee can take the exam with the help of his/her nominee with maximum grade 10 passed qualification as informed by the HSEB Exam Controller Mr. Santosh Kumar Aryal.For Kathmandu valley, an Ambulance service with medical team has been called stand by to assist the examinee in case of sickness or any health problem.
