The Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) has temporarily suspended the grade 12 exam which was scheduled take place since Baisakh 20.Due to the massif destruction of classrooms, school and college buildings, administration offices, injured teachers and students caused by the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal on 25th of April this year with epicenter Barpak village of Gorkha, the board meeting has decided to pause the exam for the time being.
The exam date will be published in future date which will have 2 weeks preparation time for the students.
It has further put the students in confusion that their months long preparation has gone in vain whereas it will benefit those students who have been recovering from the sickness caused by the earthquake.
Similarly , the government has decided to shut down all the government and private schools across the country for one month until the children are physically and mentally ready for study.
