Body of popular Nepali actor Shree Krishna Shrestha has been cremated with state honor.Shrestha had died of bone cancer while undergoing treatment at Gangaram Hospital New Delhi, India.Shrestha's body arrived yesterday afternoon and was travelled to Nepal Academy for final tribute but was brought straight to Aryaghat Pashupatinath because of uncontrollable crowd of fans flooding to offer last respect.Before arriving to Aryaghat his funeral cortege was traveled through TIA, Tinkune, Naya Baneshwar, Maitighar, premise of Nepal Academy and brought to Pashupatinath.
Information Minister Minendra Rijal, NC leader Arjun Nara Singh KC, CPN UML leader Amrit Bohora, CPN Maoist leaders Agni Sapkota, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, RPP Chairman Pashupati Shamsher JGR Rana were present to offer the final respect.Like wise artists including Rajesh Hamal, fans, family member, relatives arrived to pay their final tribute.

Shrestha was married to actress Sweta Khada last month after their long relationship.He was admited to Ganga Ram hospital after he got sick while on his honemoon trip to india.Shrestha along with actress Sweta Khadka had produced "Kaha Bhetiyela" which was commercially successful whereas the couple's new release Kohinoor is on the cinema now.
