Australia based Nepalese businessman Shesh Ghale has been elected as the new NRNA(Non Resident Nepalese Association) President.He has been elected from the ongoing 6th general assembly of NRNA in Kathmandu Nepal.
Ghale was elected with 510 votes whereas his competitor Tengi Sherpa based in Korea received 280 votes.
Other candidates for the presidents Ramprapat Thapa, Rakeshwar Shah and Hitman Gurung had withdrawn their candidacy at the last hour supporting Ghale.Other working committee members are also from Ghale's panel.
In the committe Bhawan Bhatta has been elected as Vice Chairman, Kumar Pant as General Secretary,
Ranju Thapa as Secretary and Badri KC as the Treasurer.

This is the first time in NRNA's history that the President has been elected from the vote as it used to be on the concession in the earlier Assemblies.Earlier Ghale had gone for all continent tour for interaction with the members.This is the first time
that Ghale has came into Organization and he is able to win because of his new and sharp vision to run the organization in a
new and dynamic way. Ghale's contender Tengi Sherpa had already worked as the International Coordination Consular in the NRNA.
President Ram Baran Yadav will be inaugurating the NRNA World Conference on Monday.
