CIAA Works Aggressively More 35 Officials Arrested



Commission For The  Investigation Of Abuse Of Authority (CIAA) yesterday has arrested 35 government officials at Department Of Immigration And Department of  Foreign Employment on accusation of corruption.18 of the arrested are from Immigration Department whereas 18 are from Department of Foreign Employment.They have been accused of taking bribe for issuing illegal work permit.Total of 77 workers had managed to get labor approval last year, 34 are still working at foreign countries.
CIAA has taken action after the DOFE official previously arrested on 20th august hinted some crucial information.This is the 2nd arrest made by CIIA this week.The aggressive move from CIIA has been welcomed and appreciated by the general public whereas a CIAA terror has prevailed among government officials and their families.

Department of Immigration

Section Officers: Bhoj Bahadur Aidee, Ram Chandra Karki, Nara Bahadur BK, Ram Krishna Parajuli,        Dilli Ram Bhattarai, Diwakar Sharma, Gopi Prasad Paudel, Ram Chandra Khatiwoda, Kamal Bahadur         Karki, Bikram Bahadur Somai 

  Accounts Officer: Babuhari Panthi

Non-gazetted first class officers: Ram Kumar Ojha, Jaya Bahadur Singh, Lilaram Pokhrel 

Senior Immigration Assistants: Sanjaya Nepal, Nawaraj Koirala, Ram Prasad Marasini, Chiranjiwi               Adhikari

Department of Foreign Employment

  Section Officers: Nirmala Neupane, Manju Sharma Subedi, Ajita Sharma, Mukti Prasad Khanal,                 Ganga Bahadur Bhujel, Gyanendra Sharma, Pabitra Kunwar

Computer Officer: Hiradhoj Karki

Non-gazetted first class officers: Shankar Karki, Ramesh Kumar Adhikari, Yogendra Kumar                        Adhikari,

CIAA has said that it will continue the campaign of investigation to other government offices in near future.It had already arrested six officials of Department
of foreign Employment on 20th august this week including the department chief Ramesh Mainali.
