Bartika Rai Crowned Miss Nepal USA 2013

Bartika Rai,17, has been crowned the Title of Miss Nepal USA 2013.The final round was held on Saturday evening at Queens Theature in New York.Bartika has been awarded $ 5000 scholarship along with the title.She has won the best hair award as well.
Bartika bagged the title out of the 16 finalists who were equally beautiful and talent.Bartika has average height of 5 feet 2 inches.She has been living in New york.Writing blogs, listening to music, traveling and watching movies her her hobbies.
Another beauty Anuja Thapa has been crowned the first runner up with $ 3000 scholarship whereas Soni Pathake from Texas has won the second runner up title along with $ 2000 scholarship.
Tenzing Ukayab, Pashang Sherpa, Milan Thapa, Sujita Basnet, Rajendra Shrestha and Kiran Chhetri who has been working as journalist and anchor  in CNN, were the chief judges of the contest.The event was jointly organized by Event Planet Inc. USA and E-Plant Nepal.This is the third season of the contest they have organized  since last 3 years.Malvia had arrived in US before few week to train the contestants.Malvika Subba had choreographed the whole program.She was helped by American Runway Model Metiz Martinez.Fashion Designer Vishwa Gautam had prepared the wardrobe to all the contestants.
Malvika said that this kind of Contests will promote our Arts and Culture offering a good plateform to these enthuastic girls.Such programs help the youths to motivate towards positive ways.

The event was completed smoothly and succesfully although  some of the constestants and the choreographer from the previous years had publicly appealed not to support their event as previous contests were  unfair.
